Week 7 of School – 9/30/19-10/5/19 – Rehearsals, Midwest Sectionals/Fall Festival/BPA Board Meeting/Drumline Gig/Comalander Stadium Rehearsal/Bye Week/Rocket Review/Part 4 Passoff
We had a much improved performance at our last Homecoming game and let’s keep pushing to get even stronger! Thank you to all the parent volunteers for this last game and a big shout out to our Crew Dads for making their first appearance in the marching show this last week! Students, please take time to say thank you to everyone who volunteers to help our program. We had a major improvement on having our materials. Look ahead this week for details on when to where what. Details do matter. We have a music passoff this week - be ready!
We will have two major performances this week at the NEISD Fall Festival and the Judson Rocket Review Contest. Within that we have smaller events happening that will need our attention as we learn drill too! Please keep focused this week.

TUESDAY – NEISD Fall Festival – SHOW SHIRT, long black socks, marching shoes, athletic shorts are needed for full run through (including front ensemble)

SATURDAY – Judson Rocket Review
Wear your Travel T, marching band shorts, long black socks and marching shoes to rehearsal. Ladies and long haired gentlemen, have your hair done prior to rehearsal. Clean white gloves are needed. Have horns polished and in working order before contest. You should arrive have already eaten lunch
12:00pm – Band Hall Opens
1:00pm – Run through begins
2:00pm – Run through ends
2:40pm - Depart
3:30pm – Arrive/restroom/water/get dressed
4:15pm – Grab instruments from Great White/wait until small instrument students arrive at great white/walk to warm up
4:30pm – Front Ensemble Warm Up begins
4:45pm – Band/Guard Warm Up begins
5:30pm – Perform
5:45pm – Put instruments away at buses or great white-leave shakos on buses/DM’s head to retreat
6:10pm – head into stands in uniform-sit together
6:30pm – awards ceremony
7:00pm – Depart/eat provided snack/dismissal
***STUDENTS: Please pass school. Be at tutorials and get work turned in, please. When in stands watching other bands or at awards ceremony, you must be on your best behavior. Please make sure you travel with a chaperone and in 2’s when moving at contests.
***PARENTS AND STUDENTS: Thank you for a great Spaghetti Dinner and thanks to Mrs. Angiono, Mrs. Bushman and all the other leads and setter uppers for the event!
