Week 25 - 2/17/26 - 2/21/26 - Sectionals, Rehearsals, Clinicians, TMEA, All-State Concert

What a fun weekend at TMEA! It was great to see so many Churchill students and families at the convention. Our student leaders, Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble and Steel band put on a wonderful clinic and performance that was very much talked about at the convention. Congratulations to Cooper in the Symphony Orchestra and Reid in the Tenor-Bass Choir. Both said they had an amazing experience and we are so proud of you both! There are some amazing things happening in the Churchill Band Program and you should be proud of that. We are proud of you. We will have Monday off this week for President’s Day, but we will end the week with our Percussion Concert, Jazz Festival and Winterguard contest. More info below!

Here is the schedule for the week:

***STUDENTS: Winds must get recordings in for a weekly grade. Please complete those! EVERYONE is invited to the Percussion Concert this Friday! We would love to see colorguard and winds there to cheer on the Percussionist.  In return, please make time to attend the winterguard and jazz performances this week! We are trying to raise some funds to get the Jazz program to Kingsville in a charter bus. Check out the attachments to sign up for food, games, movies, etc! 

***PARENTS AND STUDENTS: We are one month away from on mandatory info night meeting. That means we will go over what next year looks like and need student financial accounts to be cleared. Please make a point to pay band fees unless you will be using our fundraisers through to the end of the year. Our Band Yearbook Ads are on sale. This gives you 80% back on sales. More info in classes and on social media! We are trying to raise some funds to get the Jazz program to Kingsville in a charter bus.
