Way to represent on live TV Thursday Night Charger Band!! Thank you to all our volunteer parents for continuing to make our game days run smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without you! This is our Bye Week which means no game, however, we still have a busy week full of rehearsals and events. We are kicking off our Popcorn Fundraiser on Monday by calling, texting, and messaging 10-20 contacts to buy popcorn and/or collect donations - anything earned will go towards band fees! We also have our Rummage Sale and Car Show on Saturday. Reserve your table for the Rummage Sale - 100% of earnings will go towards your band fees.

Popcorn Sales - 40% of your profit will go straight towards your student band fees and you get some delicious popcorn!!(Jalepeno Cheddar is a staff favorite…just sayin’)

Rummage Sale on 9/19
$20 to reserve a table - this is to cover the cost of the permit, police, and custodial fees.
Start collecting everything you don’t use/wear/need anymore and sell it!
100% of the profits will be applied to your student band fees!

We will also simultaneously be hosting the TMEA Region 12 Jazz Band Auditions on Saturday. No one will be allowed to come into the band hall building during the auditions. Please make sure all of your equipment goes home on Friday, you will not have access during the Rummage Sale/Car Show.

STUDENTS
Please take care of yourselves, illnesses are going around! Take your vitamins and drink plenty of fluids to prevent illnesses. Any open wounds should be cleaned and covered. Eligibility will be at the 6 weeks grading period! Take advantage of your teacher’s tutoring sessions in the mornings. Make sure we’re prepared and on time to all rehearsals. Your grade will be affected for any unexcused absences from rehearsals. Reminder to get any outstanding fees turned in so you are eligible for this week’s game. PARENTS AND STUDENTS
Parents that are volunteering for any band event, including football games:
If entering on campus before the end of the school day (prior to 4:25), you MUST sign in at the front office
If parking in the band lot, please make sure you have a BAND LOT PARKING PASS from a director or our lead chaperone parent, Adam Martinez. Last year’s passes are not valid.
In order to be financially eligible for our next game, please remember that:
All outstanding 25-26 fees must be paid
Required gear/meal plan must be paid (was due Aug. 1)
At least one monthly payment ($118.25) must be paid
If the above requirements have not been met or there have been no efforts of fundraising towards fees (HEB fundraiser), students will not be able to attend the game.
