Week 17 - 12/8/25 - 12/14/25 - Band Parent Meeting, Band Rehearsals, Guard Rehearsals, Jazz Combo-Rivercity Gig, EOC Testing, Jazz Ensemble Gig - Laurie Auditorium, Region Jazz Clinic and Concert, Jazz Ensemble Bluffview Gig

Congratulations to our Area Band Members that will now be auditioning for a chair in the All-State Band! Congratulations to Alyssa, Bo, Broski, Cooper, Mer, Millie, Noah, Reid, Ryan, Sam! Our Winterguard camps are in full swing and our bands have started their after school rehearsals. Our jazz program will be very busy this week with performances and the Region Jazz Clinic and Concert at Churchill. All are invited to the 6pm concert in the auditorium where our Churchill Jazz students make up a fourth of the group!

Lastly, one of our jazz combos, The Rivercity Jazz Collective, will be performing at the February 4th Spurs game! They will be playing the national anthem and everyone is invited. *****STUDENTS: We are collecting toys for Blue Santa and our deadline is Friday! Please bring a toy to donate this week! There are a lot of small gigs and rehearsals this week, so please be where you need to be when you need to be. Clinic and Concerts are happening this week and in January, so please have music ready. **

***PARENTS AND STUDENTS: We are collecting toys for Blue Santa and our deadline is Friday! Please bring a toy to donate this week! We will have a Band Parent Meeting on Monday. Please make it out to see what is going on with your kiddo this month and what the Spring looks like. Please talk with your kiddo and know what band class (Wind Ensemble, Symphonic, Concert) so you know which rehearsal they are required to be at. For the Band students, they will have a once a week full band rehearsal until the Christmas Break. After the New Year, they will begin sectionals.

If you are still not on Cuttime, which means you are not receiving emails (after you have checked your spam folder), please have your child create their account on Cuttime and then you can follow that and build your relationship to your child.
