What a great showing at BOA Waco! Congratulations on another strong performance! We will continue to define and develop what we have to make the show even better for Area! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to all the parents that volunteered and made the trek up to Waco to make this another successful contest. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Since we have contest on Halloween we will be celebrating at rehearsal on Monday! Feel free to wear a costume as long as it doesn’t constrict your playing or marching! You can also bring a costume to change into for Trunk or Treat following rehearsal. Costume contest to follow!!
We have UIL Area coming up this week!! It will be another long day but we have the advantage of being on our home turf! Check the agenda for Saturday details.
Rock The Flock fundraiser is still going! Flock your friends, family members, teachers, and more!! See attachment for details!

STUDENTS
Keep up the good work! We need everyone at every rehearsal so please take care of yourselves, illnesses are going around! Take your vitamins and drink plenty of fluids to prevent illnesses. Any open wounds should be cleaned and covered. Make sure we’re prepared and on time to all rehearsals. Your grade will be affected for any unexcused absences from rehearsals. Reminder to get any outstanding fees turned in so you are eligible for this week’s game. PARENTS AND STUDENTS
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT! This is another busy week! Take it one day at a time!
Parents that are volunteering for any band event, including football games:
If entering on campus before the end of the school day (prior to 4:25), you MUST sign in at the front office
If parking in the band lot, please make sure you have a BAND LOT PARKING PASS from a director or our lead chaperone parent, Adam Martinez. Last year’s passes are not valid.
In order to be financially eligible for our next game, please remember that:
All outstanding 25-26 fees must be paid
Required gear/meal plan must be paid (was due Aug. 1)
At least one monthly payment ($118.25) must be paid
If the above requirements have not been met or there have been no efforts of fundraising towards fees (HEB fundraiser, Rummage Sale, Popcorn Sales), students will not be able to attend the game.
