Week 27 - 3/3/26 - 3/8/26 - Widdy Up Finalized, Instaraise Fundraiser, Rehearsals, Winterguard show, Charger Band Lock-in!

**Here comes the week before Spring Break! Congratulations to our Winterguard and Jazz Ensemble for both earning 1st place at this weekend’s competitions!! Special shout out to these jazz students for earning an outstanding soloist award: Elijah, Fernando, Danny, Peyton, Ian, August, Willard, and Julian!.  Congrats everyone! **

This week will be Week 9 of grades, so please get in some time with your classes or tutoring. We have some clinicians coming in with guard as well as bands, so please be where you need to be when you need to be.

Finally, we are having a Band Lock-In on Friday, March 6 from 6pm-12am at Churchill and you don’t want to miss this party! It includes pizza, drinks, soccer darts, velcro wall, games, movies, and more! Buy your tickets online at the following link or bring cash or a check to school on Tuesday or Thursday at 4:20pm in the band hall. Hope to see you there!

We need YOU to participate! The next Instaraise Fundraiser is for your band fees. Please get the word out!  We are trying to raise some funds to get the Jazz program to Kingsville in a charter bus. ***PARENTS AND STUDENTS: Parents! Have your kiddos sign up for the Band Lock In on Friday! It will be a great time to hangout going into Spring Break!  We also have lots of opportunities to help with band fees and fundraising. This week we have the final push for the program fundraiser - Widdy Up! We are also helping with band fees on Wednesday with Instaraise Bundt Cake sales! (1st kid to ask me will get an order in!) Finally, we have the monthly HEB Card Fundraiser on Thursday; money is due then and HEB will give a portion back to you!

Our Jazz Ensemble was asked to perform at the Texas Band Masters Association Convention in July! The students are excited for it, so please mark your calendars for July 16 - 18th.

We are one month away from a mandatory Info Night meeting. That means we will go over what next year looks like and need student financial accounts to be cleared. Please make a point to pay band fees unless you will be using our fundraisers through to the end of the year. Our Band Yearbook Ads are on sale. This gives you 80% back on sales.
