Week 18 of School – 1/6/209 – 1/11/20 – Sectionals and Band Rehearsals begin, Jazz Ensemble begins, Percussion rehearsals, Winterguard rehearsals, BPA Board Meeting, Concessions, Area Student Auditions
Welcome back to a new year and I hope the holidays treated you well! The next semester is here and we are looking forward to all that it has to bring. All the branches of the band program are starting up, such as: sectionals, full band rehearsals, jazz band rehearsals, guard and percussion. We have concessions going on this week, so parents, please sign up to help as we need you!
Band family trips are always fun, so we will be sharing plans for an “in state and out of state” trip rotation beginning next year. Please make plans to be at next week’s BPA meeting for all details and your opportunity to get signed up for our in state trip next year. Here is the schedule for the week:

***STUDENTS: Sectionals begin this week. Please have all music, fundamentals books and a pencil with you. Be on time and ready to learn. Jazz Ensemble starts this week and you must have your black binder with clear plastic sheets for music on Tuesday. Wind Ensemble will have Full Orchestra in the Orchestra Building on Tuesdays and Thursdays in class. We will start over there. All students - Rehearsals with your accompanists are around the corner, please be working on your solos.
***PARENTS AND STUDENTS: Please double check calendar for your rehearsal and sectional times. Be working with teachers and getting work turned in on time. There are multiple volunteer opportunities for concessions this week. Please go onto the band website to sign up on Sign Up Genius.
