As we now go into Veterans Day, the Charger Band would like to thank all of those who have served, are serving and will be serving in our Military. Thank you for your service.
Congratulations to our Percussion section for a great performance at the South Texas Classic Contest! As we wrap up our campus football season, we have one more this weekend at Texas State. This should be a fun performance with the Bobcat Band as well as other schools at the Texas State Band Day. Details below. We also begin our spring events with the branches of the program: jazz, winterguard, full orchestra, etc.

8:30am – Arrive having eaten/get dressed/load

11:00am – Arrive at Texas State University Events Center (Strahan Coliseum Bus Loop) -Buses move to parking on Sessom Drive.
11:30am - Combined rehearsal with Bobcat Band and other schools
12:15 PM - eat provided lunch from TxSt
1:00 PM - march to stadium via Aquarena Springs Drive, enter stadium at Gate 8
1:45 PM - pregame!
2:00 PM - kickoff
Approx 3:30 PM - half-time
Approx 5:30 PM - game ends, groups walk to University Events Center and depart, have snacks on bus
7:00pm - Arrive at school/dismissal
***STUDENTS: We have a great and fun opportunity to see what a college game is like. Please enjoy the time, be on your best behavior and have all your music with you. Do not forget your water jug. Please make sure you are passing all of your classes in the grade check
***PARENTS AND STUDENTS: Thank you for your support in a great marching season! The Texas State game begins at 2pm and you are welcome to purchase tickets at the stadium or online for the event.
