Wow! What a fun Fiesta Week! We all enjoyed the events and the program ended up 1st Place at Battle of Flowers Band Festival and 1st Place Band in the Battle of Flowers Parade! Congratulations! What a fun way to end the week! There will be a ’24-’25 leadership meeting this Monday morning at 8am. We will meet in the O.R.  We will be starting our auditions for the 2024-2025 school year this week in class as well as after school for middle schoolers and jazz students. Also, the Wind Ensemble is headed to Round Top, Texas to record for Honor Band. Details are below. We will also have our monthly fundraiser of HEB Card money drop off!

Ms. Stevenson was nominated for The Manilow Music Project. This project recognizes music educators and the top voted San Antonio Band Director will receive thousands of dollars for the band program. ***STUDENTS: Great job with Fiesta! This week is about prep for next year, experience camps as well as a major performance for Wind Ensemble. Leadership will start with a meeting on Monday and if anyone can help with middle school auditions this week, please do. Make sure to have work turned in for teachers classes.

***PARENTS AND STUDENTS: Thank you for your support with Fiesta this week. It was a lot of fun! We have volunteers with the golf cart, running water to kids, chaperoning, decorating, etc. Thank you!
